SooMan joined Manhattan Venture Partners in July 2019. Based in San Francisco, he focuses on investment due diligence, deal structuring, executing investments for the All-Star fund family, and supporting the Secondary as a Service business line. Prior to joining Manhattan Venture Partners, SooMan worked at Carta (previously eShares) as an initial member of the valuations team, helping build the firm’s presence to become the largest private market valuation provider. In addition, he also worked as a member of the Capital Markets and Liquidity Solutions team at Carta. Prior to Carta he worked at Smartbiz Loans, a FinTech company building software to help automate the underwriting process for SBA loans. He holds a BS in Finance and a minor in International Business from Santa Clara University and a MS in Finance from the University of San Francisco and holds his Series 7, 63, and 79 FINRA licenses.
